Getting Here

Getting here is easy whether it’s by car, bus or cycle. We believe the best entrance to our Centre is via Gunton Drive. See below for further directions.

NorthWest offers 1100 free parking spaces including designated disabled and parents-with-prams parking spaces. Note: Because NorthWest is shiny and new, the maps in our area are being updated frequently as new roads are created and opened.


From West Auckland

Follow Fred Taylor Drive and turn left onto Gunton Drive. Get Directions

From the City

Head straight at the lights once off the NW Motorway (coming from Auckland City). Get Directions

From the North Shore

– Take the Hobsonville Rd exit and turn right onto Hobsonville Rd – Turn right onto Gunton Drive. Get Directions

Electric Vehicle Charging

You can charge up your Electric Vehicle for free while you’re shopping at NorthWest, at the Vector Electric Vehicle charging station. You’ll find it in our Gunton Drive car park – see below for a handy map.

Bus Stops
The closest bus stop to the NorthWest Shopping Centre is Bus Stop 5633 “Westgate Opp Burger King”. It’s just a 3 minute walk away, and is located on Don Buck Road in Westgate Town Centre. It can be reached by a new signalised pedestrian crossing on Fred Taylor Drive, at the junction with Don Buck Rd. 10 bus routes use this bus stop and link NorthWest Shopping Centre to: Britomart, Constellation Station, Downtown, Glen Eden, Greenhithe, Helensville, Henderson, Hobsonville, Kelston, Lincoln, Massey, New Lynn, Smales Farm, Takapuna, Te Atatu Peninsula, Te Atatu South, Whenuapai. There are dedicated cycle lanes from Lincoln and Massey West on Triangle Road, and on Don Buck Road in the vicinity of the Northwestern motorway on and off-ramps. NorthWest has excellent and secure cycle parks for those wishing to cycle.
