Love local. Give local.

Support your local community by donating non-perishable goods today – including toiletries and canned goods.

The Salvation Army is working hard to support the wellbeing of the community directly affected as a result of COVID-19, providing individuals and families with much needed food parcels.

During the first COVID-19 lockdown, demand for essential goods and food parcels increased by 400%, and throughout the recent Auckland level 3 lockdown 200% extra food parcels were required. There is growing concern that the Government wage subsidy will soon end, causing food parcel demand to increase further.

How you can help

NorthWest Shopping Centre have partnered with The Salvation Army Westgate to provide a donation crate in the centre, nearby Countdown.

Toiletries and non-perishable foods are desperately needed:
Cans, Pasta, Rice, Chips, Biscuits, Cereal, Snacks, Toiletries, Cleaning products and sanitary products.

Donate any of the above products and help a family in need when you next visit NorthWest Shopping Centre.

The Salvation Army non-perishable goods donation box will be located inside the Centre, outside Countdown, from 17 September – 1 November (dates subject to change).
